Thurgood is one man play about the life of Thurgood Marshall.  Designing for this play was an absolute joy and honor.  Sarah May, the director of the play captured the power of this theatre in her director notes so clearly I wanted to share an excerpt with you: "It is so important to revisit the struggle for civil rights in this country and to celebrate all the progress that has been made. At the same time recent headlines remind us that the fight is far from over. As we pay tribute to the past we must keep the conversation open about the present.... We hope the story of this giant [Thurgood Marshall] will inspire new leaders and future generations to step forward and commit their lives to creating an America where people can truly live together and receive "equal justice under law."
